United for UNOS 11th Annual Soirée is Richmond's premier fall event and is uniquely held where United Network for Organ Sharing's life-saving mission is centered - UNOS headquarters. Indulge in specialty dishes from Richmond's top restaurants and caterers and celebrate the 2019 Stories of Hope - including organ recipients, living donors, donor families, transplant professionals and patients waiting for a life-saving organ transplant.
Event proceeds support United Network for Organ Sharing's life-saving work and provides the resources needed to advance and improve transplant through research, technology, and data science.

playing the coin elimination game of Heads or Tails. How to play: All players
stand and will choose Heads or Tails - visibly displaying their choice
by placing their hands on their heads or their "tails". A coin is flipped
and those who incorrectly choose heads or tails are eliminated. The
guessing and coin flipping continues until one person remains and is
the WINNER! Game starts at 9:15 pm in the Gallery. You must be
present to win.

The featured show in the Gallery at UNOS during United for UNOS 11th Annual Soirée is "Life" by Dr. Joseph Scalea.
Dr. Joseph Scalea is a multi-organ transplant surgeon focusing in the areas of pancreas, islet cell, liver and kidney transplantation at the University of Maryland Medical System. As a pioneering medical scientist, he was recently recognized for performing the first transport of a human organ by drone.
Dr. Scalea has been painting for more than 15 years and views his deep interest in the arts as a counterbalance to the intensity of science, medicine, translational engineering, and surgery. His most recent works use variably sized multi-colored circles, juxtaposed with life-forms such as geese, hummingbirds, and horses to illustrate the development of an idea from spark to complete thought.

United for UNOS 11th Annual Soirée is Friday, October 4 from 7-10 PM at United Network for Organ Sharing's headquarters - 700 N. 4th Street Richmond, VA 23219
Where can I park?
We have several parking options available and will have a security guard directing you where to park when you arrive. If you park in the UNOS parking deck, and you take an Uber or Lyft home, please move your car outside to the UNOS visitor parking lot as you depart for the evening. The UNOS parking deck is a secure area and WILL NOT BE OPEN over the weekend for vehicle retrieval. Uber/Lyft drop off is at 4th and Jackson in the UNOS visitor parking lot. 700 N. 4th Street Richmond, VA 23219.
What's the attire?
The attire is Cocktail attire, so party dress for women and suit and tie for men. Check out last year's photos to get an idea of what people wear.
Will I receive tickets?
Physical tickets will not be mailed, instead your name will be on the guest list at registration.
Can I bring friends?
Absolutely! But make sure they buy their tickets soon before they sell out!
